The best thing that ever happened
to me.
Until the age of 35,
I had dedicated my personal
space as a "child free" zone.
One hug from this one,
changed all that.
The first time she called me
"Daddy" I froze.
It scared the hell out of me.
I would give anything, to hear
her call me "Daddy"
just one more time.
Attitude at three
Gotta train em young.
Danielle loved Hot Rods right
from the beginning.
At the age of two,
she would giggle at the roar
of open headers,
and would cry if I started the
car without her in it.
You just know she's planning
something
She takes after her Mom
Danielle always had a great
sense of humor.
She needed it with a Dad like
me.
That poor shark doesn't know
what he's getting into. She
has him
right where she wants him.
She stole my heart when she
asked me to put flames on
her Barbie Beach Cruiser.
She used to come play
with her own set of tools when
I would work in the shop.
We had plans to build her
a 51 Chevy.
It would be a six year project
we would work on together.
I'm still gonna get a 51 Chevy.
Just in case.

On "Bring your daughter to work
day"
She was a big help, and a pleasure
to be with.
I hope in my heart,
she is as happy now as she was
then.

Danielle was always a good student.
She loves to read and was always
at the top of her class.
I miss helping her with her
homework.
She loved math so much she would
have me
make up problems for her
to solve, while we waited
for our food at restaurants.
